You could also create one package for all updates, then create a new program in the updates package for each update.Download Adobe Acrobat Pro. Requirements: I don't set anything for updates.Program can run: Whether or not a user is logged on.Standard Program: Name it whatever you want,.At the bottom, check "This package contains source files" and set the source folder to the one you created I have folders for each application and create a new sub-folder for each update Extract the update MSP from the EXE and place it in the source folder you want to use.I could never get it to operate properly as an application. I created a folder under Packages for Adobe Reader and just create a new package + program for each update. I deploy Acrobat Reader and updates as a program in a package. This probably isn't the best way, or even the right way, to do this but it is what works for me. ĬmdLine=/sAll /re /msi DISABLE_FIU_CHECK=1 /L*v "c:\windows\logs\adobe-acrobate-reader-install.log" I tried turning on logging with the setup.ini and tried disabling checks but nothing seems to be working. In the event logs of my test machine it says "Product: Adobe Acrobat Reader - Update 'Adobe Acrobat Reader (23.001.20174)' could not be installed. "Unmatched exit code (1639) is considered an execution failure." (grrrr) AppEnforce logs show it starts the setup.exe then I get Installer downloads to ccmcache just fine. I've used the customize wizard to make the mods I need, the mst file is added to the setup.ini and if I run it from cmd line it works fine. So I am trying to create an Application for the Acrobat/Reader "Unified" installer to deploy as Reader. I had an installer that worked at one point but of course the security team is telling us we have to get some apps updated. Has anyone been able to successfully deploy Reader installer/update application in SCCM?įor the life of me I can not get this crap to work.
